Help the Homeless in NYC

What I'm raising money for: To give Homeless people necessary items to survive.

How the money will be used:to purchase things such as hats, scarves, sanitary napkins, gift cards for food, etc

Why this is important to me:
On my 33rd birthday, I feel it is more important for me to help someone else than to buy more things I don't need. The homeless community in New York is growing because of rising rent so I feel that I have been blessed so I want to be a blessing to others.
