Fumie's breast cancer fundraising ふーみんの乳がん治療募金

May 2019, Fumie, Hiro, and their two kids, Michi and Kouyou moved to Australia from Japan.

My name is Maki, I am a friend of them and helping to build this fundraiser for Fumi and writing this message on behalf of Hiro, Fumi's husband

Hiro has a student visa that allows him and his family to stay in Australia, and the visa allows him to work 20 hours a week. However, their two kids don't have child support from the government because their parents don't have permanent residency. Even though, Fumie and Hiro choose to stay in Australia.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They received another beautiful baby boy Tensei almost one and half years ago. They were living very happily in Australia, but recently Fumie had been diagnosed with grade 3+ breast cancer which is spreading to her lymph and around the clavicula area.

 

 

Her cancers are large in size and need to make it smaller for the operation, she thought to go back to Japan, but not enough time, Fumie decided to have treatment here in Australia and commenced her first chemotherapy last week that will take on a weekly basis for the period of 6 months.

 

 

Fumie loves to play instruments, piano, flute, and guitar and she was teaching her kids and voluntary teaching music to other local kids, she has been living in a healthy way, she was caring what to eat and how to live, and this bad news absolutely devastating and shocked the family.

 

She has only private insurance, but unfortunately which doesn't cover all the treatment and they are not able to receive medicare rebait either. It will cost around $20.000 and she is seeking your help!

Please help Fumie to live her life with lovely kids and husband in the land where they love.

フーミンこと荒木ふみえさんと、オノッチことヒロさん、二人の子供達、三知（みち・現在12歳）と煌陽（こうよう・現在10歳）は2019年5月に日本からオーストラリアにやって来ました。私は二人の友達のマキといいます。ご主人のヒロさんに代わりこのメッセージを書いています。ご主人のヒロさんは日本で美容師として働いていましたが、オーストラリアでは美容師としてのビザを取る事が難しく、学生ビザで来豪し、ビザの条件である1週間に20時間までの労働で家族を賄っていました。両親に永住権がないので彼らの子供達にもオーストラリア政府からの支援はありませんが、家族で話し合いオーストラリアに移住する事を決めました。1年半前には予期していなかった嬉しい驚きで、もう一人の新しい家族、天晴（てんせい）が生まれ、協力しながら新天地であるオーストラリアで幸せに暮らしていました。そんな時、フーミンがステージ３＋の進行性の乳がんであること、脇のリンパ節、鎖骨周囲に転移があるという衝撃的な告知を受けました。

フーミンは音楽をこよなく愛し、ピアノ、ギター、笛などの楽器の演奏に長け、子供達とも演奏したり、ボランティアで地元の子供達にも教えたりしていました。普段から食べる物や生活習慣に人一倍、気を配っていたのでこの衝撃的な告知は家族をとても悲しませました。

彼女のがんのしこりは手術で摘出するには大きいため、毎週の抗がん剤治療を６ヶ月間続け、しこりが小さくなってから外科的手術を行うという治療方針を主治医、家族と決断し、先週から抗がん剤の投与が始まりました。彼女にはオーストラリアのプライベート学生医療保険しかなく、治療によって半分ほどしかカバーされません。もちろんオーストラリアの国民健康保険であるメディケアからの還元はありません。日本への帰国も考えましたが、コロナ禍の現状で帰国し病院と主治医の選択、住居、仕事、子供の教育環境など探してから治療を始めていたのでは時間がありません。彼女の治療費には$20.000　日本円にしておよそ180万円ほどの治療費がかかると予想されます。

フーミンが可愛い子供達と愛する旦那様と、家族みんなが大好きなオーストラリアで生きて行けるように力を貸してください。
