Maddie’s surgery

Donation protected
My daughter Madeleine Guy, graduated college with a PHD and a lot of promise for a bright future! Soon after though the disease Endometriosis that had been lurking inside her came out full-blown and struck her with terrible pain, nausea, constant cramping and weakness. Over the last couple of years, suffering immensely under the effects of this ailment, Maddie had to quit work and  became essentially bed-bound while her boyfriend worked hard to make ends meet. Some women have this disease and suffer from terrible cramps during their periods. Maddie suffers every day and I think she has stopped believing in hope for any recovery or normal life again.

However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. By switching to another doctor with more advanced knowledge she now has a planned surgery to excise the Endo.  This is by far the best hope for recovery.  Much like major surgery for cancer removal, this excision will remove it in any places within her body it has rooted and grown. No treatment is 100% but this surpasses any other current treatment (laparoscopy, Lupron, removal of organs) for success by a lot.

Already she has has been tested by various specialists and her surgery is set for early August. I’m hoping to raise money to not only pay her part of bills already adding up (there is a lot not covered by insurance as you probably know) but give Maddie enough to heal and regain her strength.

If you know Maddie she is a strong, smart woman who deserves to experience life when it should be the most wondrous and amazing. Thank you for any help!
