Matthew's Road to Recovery

Hello everyone! As most of you already know our sweet Matthew was in a horrible accident on July 1st. Thankfully through the grace of a God and some feisty guardian angels we are blessed that things were not worse than they are! From the accident Matthew suffered a huge trauma to his left arm. He (without getting too gory) is essentially missing a huge amount of tissue/muscle/nerves and tendons. He has already undergone multiple procedures to prepare him for hopefully what will be his last surgery in a approximately 4weeks...his skin grafting surgery. As of right now Matthew is looking at a minimum of a month in the hospital and an even longer road to recovery! Tiffany and Nolan are working desperately with doctors and surgeons to find a way to make this recovery journey as easy and as successful as possible for him. One of the options that has been talked about is the option to take a wound vac system home which would allow for Matthew to continue his recovery at home only having to make bi-weekly trips to the hospital rather than having to stay there full time. This is where I am reaching out to all of their family and friends. The wound vac system is an out of pocket, hefty expense!!! The Pressler's are always the first ones to reach out, show up and be there for anyone and everyone in their times of need and I just want to show them we all are here to support them through this journey as well!!! Due to the mountain of medical bills, the cost of gas for all the commuting they have been and will continue to be doing for a while, food, comfort measures for Matthew etc it's a lot for any family! I know they are so humble and would never reach out on their own for help; so let's just show up for them in whatever way we can! Every little bit helps! And if you are unable to offer a financial "show up" do not minimize the importance of your thoughts, kinds words and prayers...they are priceless!!!
