www.Mrs.PVAmerica.blogspot.com   www.facebook.com/ChristyParker.Mrs.PalosVerdesAmericaMy Journey To Mrs. California-America, 2014                Mrs. Palos Verdes – America, 2014  “Why Mrs. America?”…you might ask or at least think while pondering these crazy endeavors of mine/my family recently.  And I might answer, “Why not?!”  To live a little, is to dream a little.  To dare to live your dreams out loud, to push yourself to boundaries outside your comfort zone… that’s not just living or even growing, but lighting up your cozy, comfortable slice of world and making it better than the way you found it!  Mother Theresa said it best, “Want World Peace? Go home and love your family!”  They are why I do what I’m doing!  I want to teach my children not only to dream, but to dare to live theirs!  This is caught, not taught! Every morning I awake, I know how incredibly blessed I am to live another day in love… with God, my family, and this amazing community of friends we call home.  Why wouldn’t I believe I could achieve anything I set my heart on when surrounded by such love?  Another answer might be because of my passions! A passionate activist by nature and a humanitarian by nurture, I have a deep rooted resonance for those who are hurting, abused, forgotten, neglected, and broken.  There are unspeakable evils in this world that need the light of GOD to shine upon it so that it may be demolished; for darkness cannot hide in the light!  I find one of the greatest tragedies/sins of our day is our modern day, 21st Century Holocaust… HUMAN SLAVERY… the Human Trafficking of our young boys, girls, and women.  We have MORE SLAVES TODAY than in any history of the world!!!  How can this be?  All it takes for evil to exist/persist is for GOOD people to do nothing!  Sound familiar?  Maybe a little?  We are creatures of comfort and habit. But I choose to live my life in such a way that is a little less comfortable so I can stay motivated and inspired to defeat normalcy... “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men/(women) do nothing.  (Edmund Burke)!   All of us can do SOMETHING!  First step is creating AWARENESS!!!    I have partnered with A-21 Campaign to STOP HUMAN TRAFFICKING!!!  I hope each of you will join me in the cause to free the captives and call for justice to those who have hurt these precious souls.   More on this to come with my blogs.  www.Mrs.PVAmerica.blogspot.com    Undaunted, I am challenged by the Mrs. California-America organization to raise 12K in order compete at state and nat'l levels to bring my non-profit platform of ending human trafficking to center stage of the world!  I pray you will help me, join in the fight, and brave your corner of the world for justice!All donations can be used as a tax write off incentive.Blessings,ChristyHashtags:#BringOurGirlsHome  #A21Campaign  #Mrs.PalosVerdesAmerica  #EndHumanTrafficking  #TextBeFreeto233733  #NotOnOurWatch #NFS (NOT FOR SALE) #BodiesAreNotCommodities
