God allowed him to live yet again!

Greetings to all who take the time to read about us. My name is Bre and my husband’s name is Chris. This time last year, my husband Chris was very ill and near death. He had a kidney transplant in 05 that was rejecting. Well let me give you a little history first and this will help you understand why we are in need.
My husband has a kidney disease that is hereditary and he is classified as being in End stage Renal Failure. He had been on dialysis for three years before we knew that he could even have a transplant. In 2005 his stepdaughter gave him a kidney. In August of 2006 we moved to Elizabeth City, NC so he could finish his education at Mid-Atlantic Christian University. In November of the same year we found out his daughter, Candace was going to have a baby, even though the Doctors told her not to, because she too had the same disease. On December 25th, Candace gave birth to our wonderful grandson, Mackenzie, weighing in at 1lb and 2oz.
In February of 2007 Chris’ kidney started to fail for the first time. He was in the hospital for a month. I brought him home because the treatments were not working. He came home to die, the Doctors had no hope. He was back in the hospital in March and April he was in intensive care. Again they sent him home to die. No sooner then he regained some strength, his daughter Candace, died of a heart attack in Louisville, KY. This was the month before Mac was to turn one year old.
In January of 2008 Chris started having trouble walking, and by May 2009 he had had both hips replaced. Things are looking better and then here we go again. In 2012 Chris got sick again and the Doctors could not figure out what the problem was. The Doctor told me to get his affairs in order. This is very discouraging to keep being told this by the doctors.
Finally in March of 2013 we came across a Doctor who pin pointed right away what the problem was. Of course after many ER visits and blood transfusions. He had to take steroid treatments; these are like a chemo type treatment, for nine months. During that time he could not work, so I was the only income, needless to say after being knocked down over and over again, we are behind in all our financial responsibilities.
These life events have left us in a very serious financial situation. Chris was not able to work for this past year, and I do not earn enough to get meds, food and pay bills.
I am praying that someone will see our need and help us.
Thanks for taking time to read our story.
