A cause I care about needs help

Howlands (Dewsbury and District League of Friendship) is a fantastic small charity supporting local people, especially those with a disability or with health or social problems. Our charity has been offering a range of creative activities for over 60 years.

We are continuing to do this, even through this terrible pandemic by outreach work. We are fundraising to ensure that when it is safe to do so, our membership can return to their favourite place and continue to show the wider community what talented people we are. 

£3000 must be raised by the end of January. When you donate to our charity on this page, your donation will be doubled by OneCommunity via 'Matchit' , which would help us massively to stay open and create a safe environment for our returning members, of which all are vulnerable. Many people of all ages rely on us for human contact and social activity.
