R.I.P. Jose Suarez

My heart breaks as I write this message. I never imagined having the need to ask anyone for help but this is a shock to all of us and totally unexpected.
On the night of Monday, February 10, 2020; my brothers life came to an end. His body was discovered on Tuesday February 11, 2020. We got a call from Miami Dade police and they asked if we knew Jose and if we can go to the station and at that moment, our hearts sank. We knew that it meant something terrible. We were right ! My brother was found after 2 days of us not hearing from him. He was dead. He had just turned 42 and had so much life in him. We may have had different fathers, but as siblings, we all have my mother’s smile and my mother’s eyes.
Jose loved video games, football, anime, working out,going out to eat and movies. He enjoyed going out for beers with friends and had a contagious laugh. We miss him so much and wish his life didn’t end in such a tragic way. No mother should ever have to bury a son/daughter. We are asking for help to cover expenses during this time.
On Sunday we will have a funeral service for my brother at Maspons funeral home and he will be laid to rest in peace on Monday at Our Lady Of Mercy cemetery. He will be buried next to his grandmother. We would like to thank everyon for the outpouring of love and support in light of this tragedy. The generosity and kindness you've shown are unparalleled and greatly appreciated in this time of need. There is no sufficient way to thank each of you and express what your love has meant to us, to me. I also encourage everyone to look into paying for cemetery expenses monthly. Please plan ahead to prepare for what’s to come. Keep your loved ones close and love them unconditionally. Tomorrow is not promised.
