Stone/Scanlon - Children's Fundraiser

As many of you know, Casey Marie Scanlon died after a brief illness.  An illness that was brought on during her 3rd pregnancy.  Casey never felt right after delivering Brayden, but suffered through her pain quietly.  She died suddenly at home on Friday, May 9th.  Leaving her husband Brendan Stone, three children all under the age of 7.  Shea, Taylor and Brayden.  Casey also leaves her closest friend and sister, Melissa Saraceno and her niece and nephew, Kylie and Korey.  Tragically, Casey's mother Patricia died unexpectedly herself on Christmas morning.  This family has already been dealt so many tragedies and pain, the thought of these beautiful children knowing their mother is never coming home, kills me.  We would like to try to raise money so that Brendan, who is now a single father of three, will have some help with whatever monetary help he can get.  There will be medical bills, there will be sitters, nannies, diapers, food, clothing, rent, college, proms, etc.  So many daily expenses there will be and that is one way we could help.

Casey's wake will be on Sunday, May 18th from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the McDonald Funeral Home on 139 in Marsfield.  Her funeral will be @ 8:45 a.m. on Monday followed by a funeral Mass at St. Mary's church in Scituate Harbor.

The family has not asked for any help and isn't even aware I am setting up this go fund me for the kids.  I just think they will need all the help, support and love they can get.
