In June of 2020 I was diagnosed with lung cancer. An attempt to needle biopsy it failed and landed me in the hospital for 2 days with a collapsed lung. A follow-up CAT Scan in November confirmed that the tumor was malignant.
The insurance company fought some of the required testing and my deductible for the year has not been fully met. I estimate that by the time is all said and done, this will be well over $100,000.00. We have already incurred well over $32,000 in uninsured expenses.
Due to the pandemic my wife hasn't worked in over 9 months and I am our only source of income.
