Tony and Beth Hamm are not only the most wonderful and loyal friends we've had the pleasure of having in our lives, but amazing parents to their three teenage daughters and energetic, hardworking people. Ready to drop everything to help a friend in need, or the public in danger as nuisance alligator trappers, they are conscientious, honest and always smiling.
On April 21, 2017, the family underwent a mandatory evacuation of their home in Naples FL because of the threat of fires in the Golden Gates Estates area where they live. They left with a few belongings, their vehicles, alligator trailer, travel trailer and their dog.
That evening they heard that their home was lost. They returned on April 22 to find it totally gone, even with the most valiant efforts by firefighters and the forestry department. They've lost most of their belongings as well as Tony's tools that he used to provide for his family.
Ray and I have created this account to assist Tony and Beth in the financial hardship they now face in having to rebuild their home of 20 years as well as provide for their daughters while they undergo the lengthy process of starting over.
We can't imagine the emotional and financial strain at the moment, but would like to make this time a little easier for two very special people and their family.
This is a completely unforeseen situation, and one that makes us want to go home and count our blessings, say a prayer for all involved in this horrible turn of events here in Naples FL, and hug our families and pets a little tighter.
