<div>My name is Michael Martins, and I’m going through one of the most difficult moments of my life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On October 22, I underwent what was supposed to be a simple gallbladder surgery — a routine procedure that usually requires just one day in the hospital. Unfortunately, things took a tragic turn. I suffered severe internal bleeding and had to undergo emergency surgery the next day, on October 23.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The emergency procedure lasted more than six hours. During surgery, I went into cardiac arrest, and doctors had to remove my spleen to save my life. I spent seven days intubated in the ICU, in a coma, and another two weeks hospitalized afterward. I also needed blood transfusions, as I had lost nearly all of my blood.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, I am still in recovery, facing many physical limitations and daily challenges.
</div>
<div>My wife had to leave her job to care for me and our three young children, which has made our financial situation extremely difficult.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’ve created this fundraiser to help cover medical expenses, medications, food, and essential living costs while I recover and work toward regaining my strength.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation, no matter the amount, means the world to us.
</div>
<div>Your support — through a contribution or by sharing this page — will help us get through this very challenging time.
</div>

<div>Thank you from the bottom of my heart,

</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
