Many of you are already aware of Tarrance’s latest endeavors and have had the privilege of seeing God at work in his life. God has placed it on the hearts of many to do something nice for Tarrance. I ask that you prayerfully and thoughtfully consider joining us in this effort.
God is doing some wondrous things in his life and although Tarrance may not ask for much, he is in need of support to grow and promote his ministry. Many of you have read his book or snippets of his book, or simply have chatted with him and have been blown away at the change in his life and would like to contribute financially to the promotion of his book and ministry. Following this request, I’ve included a brief bio of Tarrance to give you a snapshot of who he is.

Tarrance Weaver was born in 1979 in Aiken, South Carolina. He currently resides in the Englewood neighborhood within the inner city of Chicago, Illinois where he ministers to youth, works in his church, and is completing his first book titled Face to Face Where Life Meets Reality. Tarrance works for People United to Save Urban America, and is employed under Bishop Spencer Jones. Weekly, Tarrance visits three to four elementary and middle schools to be a positive role model to Chicago's inner-city youth. He also travels to churches throughout the United States with Bishop Jones, and gives his testimony to the ears of hundreds of listeners. Tarrance says that his first book, "Face to Face Where Life Meets Reality, is a book that reveals the delivering, healing, and redeeming power of Jesus Christ to the broken, the hurting, and the lost. This book talks about our face to face encounters with God, life, the world, and our own personal struggles.
When asked about his book Tarrance explains, “Within Face to Face you will encounter my darkest fears and some of my most heartfelt moments. You will hear the heart of a teenager drowning in the ocean of life. You will follow the journey of a boy traveling through life to become a man, and you will experience some of the obstacles that he had to face. In the pages of this book, the presence of God is seen, heard, and felt as I stand Face to Face with Him."
Ask Tarrance to sum up his life in a few sentences and he will reply, “My life has been an amazing ride from small choppy streams into the ocean of life. It hasn’t been an easy ride, but I’ve realized the true vastness and beauty that this life offers, and I’ve learned to embrace all of God’s people and creations as they bless me with their presence.”
Tarrance's mission statement for his life is to, "Live this life to the fullest; realizing that this life is not about me, but it’s about others - about saving souls, sharing love, and embracing loved ones."
Tarrance is in need of $3000 by August 31, 2014 to cover fees required for his current projects. A few have graciously donated in response to this request, however more is needed. My prayer is that we come together to assist him financially. Any donation of any monetary amount is welcomed.
If you know others who would also like to contribute to this call to action, please forward this request to them on Facebook.
