Jason Kicklighter

Monday, May 12, 2014, on his way home from a softball game, our son, Jason Kicklighter, was involved in a terrible car accident. We aren't sure of the exact details of his accident, but Jason was thrown 12 feet from the car, trees had to be cut down to allow emergency services to get to Jason. He was then flown to Memorial Medical Center for treatment. Jason has a serious brain injury. His skull is broken in 20 places, he has face fractures, his brain is bleeding, and swollen. He has been put in a medically induced coma to help his body rest, and to help his brain heal. They've placed a monitor on his brain to measure the pressure. Doctors say right now all we can do is wait for his brain to heal. Jason is a fighter, and he has prayer warriors all over the world praying for him constantly. We aren't ready to lose our son, our family isn't complete without him. Jason has a loving wife, and 5 children. His wife Andrea hasn't left his side, their children are being cared for by family. We are so thankful to have such generous friends and family right now. Andrea is a stay at home mother, Jason was the only income that their family had, and depended on. He was such a hard worker, and did his best to provide for his family. He is a loving, caring father who loves his children more than anything. We are asking from our hearts, for prayers and donations for Jason and our family during this very trying time in our lives. Donations will go to Jason's wife and children to help them continue to maintain the every day logistics, while allowing Andrea to stay by Jason's side, also helping to cover the many, many medical expenses that are accruing daily.
