Cherry Creek Band Program

The Cherry Creek High School Band Program  is an extensive program that includes seven bands and we're on the move!  Transporting hundreds of students and instruments to performances costs money and the logistics in doing this is quite involved.  It costs over $35,000 to move these kids to the different events all over the state throughout the year.  As part of an ongoing effort we're raising money to help offset this large necessary cost.  We'd like to think of your donation as an investment in the universal language of mankind!  

Being in one of Cherry Creek's bands changes kids' lives, don't take our word for it; here are some quotes from the Marching Band kids - 
“My favorite part of marching band is meeting the new people because you have friends and know everyone on the first day of school.”

“You don’t have a scared freshman look because of band camp.  You meet so many friends, I have 50 of my closest friends in the band, and it’s the greatest experience ever.  It feels really awesome.” 
“Walking off the field after a competition is a feeling you can’t describe.  Playing at football games is fun but competing and spending a whole day with the band is why I do Marching Band."

Did you also know that our band Director Tim Libby was named one of "50 Directors Who Make a Difference".  So please help us continue to develop an amazing group of kids.  Every penny raised will go directly to the band program. With the 2016/2017 band season rapidly approaching we're hoping to raise this before September 2016.
