Medical Aid for Syrians

I've been given an incredible opportunity to join a medical team to provide aid in the Za'atari Refugee Camp near Amman, Jordan. The camp is home to nearly 150,000 Syrians who have fled their home country.
A few months ago, my sister and I helped fundraise for a Houston based organization which provides aid to displaced Syrians. It was then that I learned what life is like in these camps, about the daily struggle to survive, and the reality that the conflict has no end in sight. After that day I felt the strong urge to help in a bigger way, I just wasn't sure how.
Fast forward to three weeks ago, I was given the chance to travel to Jordan with a small group of nurses and doctors to provide hands-on care to displaced Syrians in the Za'atari Camp. The team is leaving in June, and without much time for fundraising, I really (really) need help.
The tragedy in Syria is overwhelming, and in no way will the aid I provide fix it all. But, it will make life a little easier for the few thousand Syrians who will be treated by our team. Please consider giving, and, as always, I am grateful beyond words for any amount donated. Thank you.
