The Plummers

These are our dear friends the Plummers; Liz, Wade, Wesley, Lena and baby Izzy. They took shelter with us during hurricane Florence. They returned home to New Bern, NC, to complete devastation. Their home had been flooded during the hurricane. Water, sewage and mold destroyed everything in their home. All they have left is what they brought with them to our house. Their landlord did not have flood insurance and their renters policy did not have a flood provision. Currently they are staying in a loft at another friends house. There is no electricity or plumbing. The Plummers are an amazing family, hard workers and have a true love for the Lord. They do not have the financial means to rebuild. They are trying to work out a deal with their landlord to repair the house in exchange for rent, thankfully Wade has the skills to repair the house if the landlord provides the supplies. They will need money to replace essential items such as clothing, beds, furniture, items for the children, baby items, and food. This family, through their Faith, has poured so much love out to the world. I am asking all of my friends, family and perfect strangers to help us help them rebuild. Please search your heart. I ask you to give what you can. No amount is too small. Tara and I have given them what we could to get the ball rolling.
