Eric's cancer fight fund

When Eric’s legs started hurting and he became so weak to the point that he was limping we took him to A&E  in King’s College Hospital. On the 8th of November our kind, loving and empathetic son Eric was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). It was heartbreaking and we were totally devastated, and we couldn't believe it was happening.
This diagnosis was later confirmed through the bone marrow biopsy in specialist Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton where he was  later transferred .  We were told that his intensive treatment programme would take 3 years in total and on the 12th of November our son was started on his first chemotherapy drugs. Eric is still hospitalised but at some point he will go home. His diagnosis also includes the requirement for frequent hospital appointments. The approximate daily cost of journey to and from hospital is £10.  As we are both working full time we need to take some time off work in order to be with Eric during his treatment. During this difficult time we don't want to end up struggling with unpaid rent or bills and additional cost trying to cover travel expenses to and from hospital. Because of this, it becomes a necessity for us to seek a financial assistance for the duration of his treatment.  These funds will greately improve Eric's quality of life and will allow us to cope in this stressful time.  We want to do everything for Eric so he could lead a relatively happy life.
