Lori's Story:
When Lori’s husband beat cancer six years ago, no one in the family thought we’d be dealing with it again— especially not Lori. This January, Lori was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been fighting it ever since. She aggressively attacked it with two surgeries and several changes in diet as early as possible.
Even with these big changes, the doctors have determined there is some cancer in her lymph system and have recommend chemo to finish this fight and keep those cells from spreading. Lori felt strongly that this was not for her, and had already spent her weeks of recovery researching non-traditional treatments.
Her search led her to Oasis of Hope, a widely recognized leader in alternative, integrated cancer treatments. This stood out for Lori as her best option. Because of it’s location, our U.S. insurance is not accepted by the hospital and the family is unable to shoulder the financial weight on their own. Many friends, family members and coworkers have been so encouraging and wondered what they can do to help. This is it, please donate so that this battle may be won.
