Tom

This is Tom Templeton. He is a friend of mine for over 30 years. We have so many stories that could be told, but I'll leave that out. Many of you know him. He grew up in Rock Hill, SC and attended Clemson. He and his wife Stefanie, now live in Mobile, AL, raising two teenage sons. He is a great guy who has never said a negative thing about another person. Truly, the nicest guy you could know. Last week, Hurricane Sally caused major damage to their home. Leading insurers do not write homeowner policies that include wind coverage in their area and gulf coast residents are forced to use use the Alabama state "wind policy" coverage as a last resort. As a "catastrophic coverage" this policy carries a 40k deductible. Normally, this would not be an insurmountable number, but their family has dealt with a lifetime of medical issues.  His son was diagnosed with hydrocephalus at age 2 and has had 15 brain surgeries in 16 years. (Their son has been surgery-free now for just over a year and is currently doing well).  Even insured, this obviously takes a toll financially, not to mention emotionally. Also, earlier this year, Tom made the difficult decision to  close his recruiting firm and return to the corporate world. Unfortunately, the timing coincided with the pandemic and he has been unable to find the work he expected. Please donate and support a great guy and family in this time of chaos.
