Brian Wood has been there for countless others when they needed him. Now its our turn to be there for him. Brian Was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis at 16 or 17. In 2005 he was just about 23 years old and was diagnosed with liver disease or Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, PSC, for short. In January of 2010 he had his first stay in the ICU and since then he has been there so many times his family members have lost count.In february he was visiting his sister and she arrived home from and found him close to death. Since then he has been in phyiscal limbo some days better than others. The other day his family received news that he would not make the requirements for a liver transplant in Ohio or Pensylvania due to the fact that he is still too sick. Now his family is faced with the financial responsibility of finding a nursing home that would accept him due to his trach tubes and dialysis. They understandably do not want to put Brian in a hospice facility as he is a young man and they are not ready to give up on him and neither are countless of Brians friends. He is the type of person who will take the shirt of his own back to help another. His dog and family need him and so does the world. Please give what you can. We will be having an actual fundraiser in June or early July. If you give atleast 10 dollars we will make mention of you in the program.
