Rim to Rim Fundraiser Event

On May 31 two members of the Apostolic Christian Church of North Phoenix will be running 26 miles across the Grand Canyon. The purpose of this run is to be a fundraiser for a couple in our church, Marc and Jennifer Saries, and their fight against Jen's cancer.  Every cent collected for this event will go directly to them.  Money will never be a cure for cancer nor will it ever give us the peace that only God can provide, but it is our hope that in some way the money raised will help alleviate some of the stress they encounter as they remain persistent in their battle against this terrible disease.
A church may be comprised of individual people but the members of it are united in both love for one another and love for our God. It's what makes us a family and our family deserves to know that we are willing to go to any length to show our care and support for them in painful times such as these, even if it means running across a big hole in the ground or pledging a few dollars to help them where we can.
