Mission Trip Photography - Romania

Guess what! God is moving and He is moving me! Most of you know I have a passion for photography. I think it's safe to assume you know my passion for doing Gods will!
Acts 1:8
"He told them, "You don't get to know the time.
Timing is the Father's business. What you'll get is the Holy Spirit.
And when the Holy Spirit comes on you,
you will be able to be my witnesses in Jerusalem,
all over Judea and Samaria, even to the ends of the world."
God has instilled in me a love for travel. I enjoy jetting around His creation. Seeing new places, the undiscovered beauty He has for me to find, meeting new people, learning about their culture and sharing the love of God with them!
God has presented me with the opportunity to combine the two things I love! I will be traveling to Romania with W.A.V. (Without A Voice) July 24- Aug. 7th! They have taken me on as their photographer! Yaaaay!!! I will not be just a missionary or just photographer, I get the best of both worlds! We will be dealing with human trafficking and Muslim ministry.
My heart is undeniably called to spread the good news!
Matt 28: 19-20
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Let me tell you a little about the Muslims beliefs. They live by the Quran. They believe that Iman (Six articles of faith) must be accompanied by righteous deeds. Doing the two of these are what get them to Paradise. Now, as Christians, we know that deeds can not get you to Heaven. You could save a dying man, start 100 charities, have good morals, give to the poor, etc, yet still not get into Heaven. The only way to Heaven is to accept the Free Gift that is Jesus Christ!
Romans 10:13-15
" for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"
Without Senders who stay, pray, donate, encourage... Then there would be no Goers with the opportunities to spread the Good News. That means that all the lost, confused souls who need to hear about the man (Jesus) who died just for them, wont. Without Senders people are not saved, healed, loved. Without Senders the Kingdom of Heaven and our family in Christ would be very small. I wouldn't want to live in a world where there were no Senders.
Because I (the photographer) was a last minute addition to this trip, I have a very short amount of time to raise my funds. The trip is July 24- August 7. I have been asked to raise the money for my plane ticket. Because I am technically working for W.A.V, they will be taking care of the rest of the expenses. The Lord is good! They need this money by June 24th, that leaves me with just over a month to raise $1,500.
I currently have 2 jobs (Nanny and Academy Sports + Outdoors) and live on my own. While I am out of country I will be missing out on paychecks and still have bills to pay. This being said, my overall fundraising goal is at least $2,000. Coast of trip, rent, bills, pet sitting and such.
My fundraisers consist of a garage sale, pet siting, any photo shoots scheduled with my photography- Times Story Photography. I also plan on selling Scentsy car air-fresheners! I am currently planing online fundraisers as well, more info to come.
