Remembering Dana

For those who don’t know the story of Dana DeLauter, she was a mother, daughter, sister and soulmate. Dana passed on February 6, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. To know Dana was a privilege that many of us had but she was taken too soon from us.
We want Dana’s memory and story to last for everyone to hear as the time passes. There is no better way for that to happen than to have her name placed at the beach, a place she loved and adored. We have researched on how to get her name placed on a bench on Ocean City’s boardwalk and discovered that it’s just not simply putting a plaque on a bench but a bigger process. The bench must be bought with the plaque from the town of Ocean City. Unfortunately the cost of the bench and plaque is $1700.
This would be a place that everyone could go to sit and spend time reminiscing of Dana and their individual memories of her. I know she will be there with us!
Let’s make this happen so that her family and friends can go have a seat with her while she takes in the beauty of the ocean and sand that she loved so much!
