Sother Teague is not only one of the most talented individuals in our industry, but also a phenomenal role model, mentor, and friend to us all. He spends countless days and nights improving our palates with his delicious drinks and tasty bites just so we can enjoy some well spent time at a beloved bar.
Anyone who knows Sother Teague understands his level of passion for what he does day in and day out. He works so hard for everything in his life and does not ask for much in return. Even so much as to cook each week during Double Buzz without taking a dime for the event. Not one penny!
Sother sought out a way to make his life a bit more simple (and healthy) and bought an electric bike a few weeks back. He spent weeks and months saving for it and finally got the amount necessary to purchase it. Sadly after the first day, some terrible NYC thugs stole his bike and he has been very distraught since the incident.
This is where we help.
Sother would NEVER ask his friends to help him get a new bike, but we are going to do it for him anyways. The $1800 goal covers the cost of a new bike, locks and the small fee this site charges for donations. We know that with a few donations from friends we can show Sother just how much we care about him and get him back on the track towards a healthier lifestyle.
The biggest part of this is the element of surprise. WE DO NOT WANT SOTHER TO KNOW. Sother would never stand for this type of fundraising, therefore we will do so in secrecy. We will be raising these funds without his knowledge and once they are collected, we will then let him know about his new set of shiny wheels.
