Kyle's Recovery

Hello everybody, this is Warren Kyle Blackmor. Recently, while working I had a traumatic wreck and was thrown from an electric vehicle and subsequently run over by it. I brutally destroyed my leg, broke two bones, tore a ligament, lost the ability to walk and also, to work. This happened right at the very tail end of my health insurance "plan-year" (the end of my twelfth month of this policy). So, I had to pay the full deductible, $3,000 dollars in order to get my corrective surgery done to fix the broken bones and torn ligament. The month after that, my deductible renewed.. so I have to pay toward ANOTHER $3,000 deductible (for the new year) to keep the insurance for all the Physical Therapy required to rehabilitate my leg, so that I can walk again. I have bills. I have rent. I have various living expenses (groceries, etc.).. and I have no income right now and no realistic way of getting any. I'm an independent contractor, and for right now I drive a pedicab taxi for a living. Obviously, I cannot pedal that with a broken leg. So I cannot work. I talked to a lawyer & I can't sue the city, who arguably is at fault, as their busted up horrible road was the cause of this accident. Apparently, they have immunity in these types of things. I can't get workmans Comp because I work for myself. I have no employer. I can't get disability because you have to have a chronic, incurable disability to be illegible. Eventually, I will heal. I can't get unemployment because if you are out of work due to an injury you are automatically excluded from collecting unemployment (as a by-law). So, I cannot work nor benefit from any single one of these aforementioned programs or avenues for recovery. I'm dying here... I do not have money for all of this misfortune and I am just going DEEPLY into credit card debt, because that is all I have to fall back on right now... I don't know what to do, or where to turn, I'm at my wit's end.. so I'm asking, begging, and praying that some kind individuals, especially those of you who know and love me, might be willing to extend a life-saving hand to a drowning man. Every penny counts. And any help received is a godsend. If you have it in your heart.. I'm hurting. And I ain't too proud to say please...
