Lily's Surgery Expenses, Cincinnati

Lily requires major reconstructive surgery. Only a few surgeons in the country can handle such a difficult procedure as this, so we are forced to travel out of state. She is facing a twelve hour operation on May 27th and about a six week recovery in Cincinnati. Followed by another month recovery at home.  

Insurance will cover most medical costs, but not our travel and living expenses while we are there. Elena and the dogs will be traveling with us, so we have rented an apartment close to the hosptial. 

Perhaps you you have not been aware of our family situation lately, but I am now a single mom, with no financial support at this time.  I had to take family medical leave last October to care for Lily and to travel back and forth to the hospital as we prepared for this surgery. I have been without income for 6 months and have lost my position with the school district. 

Any financial support would be appreciated as well as prayers for our family and the doctors. If you are able to come see us, we have a place for you to stay and a car for you as well. We would be especially greatful for anyone who could come hang out with Elena that first week of June, as my dad will be leaving and I will still be in the hospital with Lily.
