94th Glasgow (1st Shettleston) Boys' Brigade

This GoFundMe has been set up for the benefit of the 94th Glasgow Boys' Brigade Company, and specifically for every boy who joins our ranks in the Shettleston area of Glasgow.
We usually meet weekly on a Friday night in the church halls of Shettleston New Church, which sits on the corner of Annick Street and Old Shettleston Road. Activities are varied, from the traditional drill marching, to sports, arts and crafts, group challenges, community work and fund raising.
Every year we aim to have an Inspection night where family and friends can come and see the culmination of the years activities, and watch the prize giving and awards ceremony.
Due to the COVID pandemic we have been meeting throughout April right up to the present via "online video conference software" as part of the #BBatHome initiative. This has proved to be fun, entertaining and good fellowship.
Unfortunately the inability to meet in a physical sense has stopped our regular fund raising to help pay for capitation fees, and other general costs.
We have in September 2020 launched our first gofundme page which will hopefully allow us to finance face to face meetings, which Staff are planning for, when they are allowed to resume under Government guidelines.
The boys will be participating in fund-raising activities which will be directed towards this fund and we will publish back here so you can see what's happening! thanks again!
