<div>On Monday, Kelly suffered an embolic stroke that has left her hospitalized and facing a long road to recovery. While doctors expect her to be discharged soon, she’ll need months of physical and occupational therapy to regain her strength and full mobility. She won’t be able to work full time — or possibly at all — for the next several months and possibly longer.

<div>As many of you know, Kelly is a single mother of two young daughters, a passionate Latin dance teacher, and a beloved member of both the Seattle dance scene and her wider community of friends and family.

<div>During her hospitalization, doctors uncovered additional concerning health issues that are still being evaluated. There are still many unknowns, but it’s possible that Kelly may be facing even greater medical challenges in the weeks and months ahead.
