Legally Blind Needs Own Transportation

Hey everyone,
For those of you that don't know me, my name is Mert Danna and I am legally blind. I suffer from a disease known as Blue-Cone Monochromacy. This disease is so rare that only 1 in 100000 men have it, which means that there is very little research that has been done on it, so there is no surgery able to fix it.
Since I am legally blind, I will never be able to legally drive a car. In my nearly 21 years of existence, I have always had to rely on others for transportation. However, with a little help, it is possible that that could change.
I have recently done a lot of research on means of transportation besides way of car, and have discovered a wonderful invention called the ELF made by a company called Organic Transit. The ELF is a solar-powered, electric vehicle that is legally classified as a bicycle.
While there are plenty of other electric or gas powered bikes out there, I feel the ELF is the best option for me. If I owned one of these it would legitimately change my life in a number of positive ways. For one thing, I would no longer have to rely on others for transportation because I would be able to quickly and safely bike to my destination. Being able to do this would further empower my independence and enable me to get to a job more easily, as well as simple things like go into town or visit a friend's house.
My road is not exactly bustling with traffic. So, with a little help, here's where you can come in. I need money to buy my own ELF. Since this would be my "car" (so to speak), your donations would contribute to things such as the ELF itself, extra batteries, extra storage space, better tires for the winter, a GPS and speedometer, and a better gear hub to help me get over the numerous hills in my area.
