Reagan's Junior National Leaders Conference

Donation protected
Friends and family, Reagan is excited about an opportunity for her summer.  She has been invited to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington D.C..  She was nominated by one of her 5th grade teachers.  She was nominated because of her academic acheivement, maturity, and strength of character.  This conference is an experience that is perfect for her personality.  She is going to go by herself to our nation's capital for one week full of activities with and for students her age.  Parents aren't allowed to attend the conference so that there is no outside distractions.

Reagan will learn to become a better leader by setting clear goals, understanding the importance of strong character, improving communication skills, embracing models for solving complex problems, earning the respect of others, and building effective teams. She will be creating a personal action plan for continued personal leadership improvement and return home equipped with the tools to tackle current issues facing her school and community.  This conference will give her a jump start on the skills needed to be successful in school and on into her adult life.

Reagan and her teammates will be visiting various landmarks and historical sites around Washington D.C..  Some of which will be the Smithsonian National Museum of American History and studying leadership choices at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park in West Virginia. She will also be having a sleepover and leadership activity at the Maryland Science Center, which she is most excited about.

Please consider helping us send her to a conference that will benefit her for a lifetime in academic and professional pursuits.

We have gotten a late start on fundraising and the deadline for deposits are QUICKLY approaching.  Your quick response to Reagan's future is greatly appreciated.  The initial deposit has been made today and the second deposit is due by this Friday, May 16.  The final payment is due June 6.

Our fundraising got kicked off tonight with a $500 kickstart from Mike Millwee (Poppa), we thank you, and Reagan thanks you for believing in her!
