<div>Stephen Beard and Alexandra Robson's eldest boy Teddy is a special 5-year old non-verbal autistic and the guys are seeking to raise $1,000,000 / £750,000 to create an app - SEN CONNECT - which will provide a platform for families and the special needs community to come together and share experiences without feeling judged or isolated. The app will also provide best practice guidance on education tools, therapies and nutrition to assist families with living with autism.

<div>There are limited options for autistic children and their families to get together. To share experiences, to be free of judgement in social / neuro-typical environments. We want to change this. We want to create an online platform / society where autistic children and their families can plan to come together and be themselves. Ultimately, we want to bring a greater understanding to communities over what Autism is and how the condition affects people and so the funds raised will go to the creation of an app which will make this possible.
