Why am I running?
Current spending in federal government and especially Obamacare is UNSUSTAINABLE!
Current spending in Medicare and State-run Medicaid is UNSUSTAINABLE!
We need a senator who understands the healthcare crisis we face.
There are many things we can do at a state level to help lessen the effect of the federal government in our lives.
Our current representative, as a member of the minority democratic party, never receives a chairmanship of key committees.
For the past 37 years, I've witnessed Boise State get larger and Idaho State receive what's left over in higher education funding.
We need a strong voice supporting ISU.
We need a stronger voice supporting economic development.
The last few years I've witnessed the closure of FMC, Heinz, Weight Watchers and the reduction of presence of Union Pacific railroad and countless support business.
We need a stronger voice for Pocatello, Chubbuck and all of Bannock County.
