Hello,
My name is David Jendayi (10). I am a 5th grade student at Paterson Art and Science Charter School. I am also an active member of the school iDream Program, which makes me an iDreamer, and I hope that you are one too.
The iDream program focuses on bringing the best of who we are through engineering, technology, science, coding/programming, math and marketing. We inspire to make a difference and grow through innovation.
We need funds to achieve our goals:
- Trip to MIT in April 2016
- Trip to Washington DC to attend USA Science Festival in April 2016
- Equipment for our lab (literally everything from computers/tablets to rug)
- Magazine subscription (Popular Science, ...)
We are currently working on marketing efforts to raise funds but also on developing an app called "Talk to Me".
Our other main focus is to secure our trip to MIT and Washington DC this coming Spring. It would be such an amazing opportunity to meet scholars and students, to talk to them, see what they work on and what it took for them to get there.
iDream is founded on the inspiration of our two coaches, Mr Tekin and Mr Kikanov. Their commitment to us is a gift and we cannot let it go to waste.
Our dateline was yesterday! Which means we need funding as soon as possible.
