On September 27th, Angel’s life changed forever. After ten days of high fevers with no response to any medication, doctors and bloodwork confirmed the devastating news,
Angel had an aggressive form of acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Angel is a sweet 14 yr old boy with a huge heart. His family is going to need a lot of love, support and prayers to get through this extremely difficult time.
Angel was recently transferred from Children’s Medical center to The Children’s house, a rehabilitation center in Dallas where he will receive speech and physical therapy for a reaction to the chemo he is receiving. This reaction has caused his brain to swell and lose mobility on his left side of his body.
Angel is now too weak and sick to eat so they have put him on a feeding tube.
As you can imagine, the financial burden that a diagnosis like this has on a family is devastating.
Angel’s mom, Norma or as her friends call her (Betty)is a single mother of three. She has not been able to work so that she can be by Angel’s side 24/7 to help him.
My son and Angel are good friends and we wanted to help out as many of you have also asked how you could help, so this is where the GoFundMe page comes into play. Angel has a long road ahead of him with expensive monthly medications
(3 Yrs of chemo), and bills piling up. The family has moved in with relatives so that Betty’s other two kids will be taken care of. The money from your donations will go directly to Betty to help her out for the next three years.
