Annika's YWAM Marriage of the Arts DTS

Greetings, friends and family!
I am excited to announce I am going to Nuremberg, Germany, in September, for a 6 month art-based Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM (Youth With a Mission). The heart of WYAM is to know God and to make Him known. Through this Marriage of the Arts DTS, I will be focusing on using my artistic gift of photography to help end poverty and be a voice to the voiceless throughout the world. The school is based in Germany, however, we will be doing a 3 month hands-on outreach in Africa from Dec-February. This is a giant leap of faith for me, as the total cost for the training, plus 6 months of living costs and transportation, will exceed $5000.
I have always had a heart for both missions work and art, so to find a program that "marries" these disciplines in an effort to spread the incredible love of Jesus is beyond exciting! I can't wait to see what will come of this journey. Please prayerfully consider coming along side and help in sending me to impact the world by making the most beautiful artist of all time, our Heavenly Father, known globally!
Also, please note that I am currently keeping this off social media for the time beeing, as I am awaiting the right time to reveal this with my current employment. Thank you for understanding!
