Since being diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in late January, I've been getting only the best care from the physicians and nurses at the University of Colorado Health Cancer Center in Fort Collins.
Luckily, Mara and I have have excellent health insurance and have been able to take this fight against cancer head-on without having to worry about money. This is not the case for everyone.
Mara and I have decided to play in a golf tournament fundraiser organized by one of the oncologists at the Cancer Center (http://www.tag2change.com/countonme_2014.php). In addition to the funds raised by the tournament, I feel more can be done. This is where you come in!
I would like to raise $1,000.00 to donate to TaG Enterprises (a charitable organization) and the University of Colorado Health Cancer Center (this money will be donated directly to TaG Enterprises, and is not being raised to cover the cost of the tournament :) ). This money will help patients in Colorado receive the same world-class care that I have been given. It will also benefit cancer patients everywhere through the cutting-edge research and clinical trials being carried out by researchers and physicians at the Cancer Center.
Any all all donations, no matter the amount, would be greatly appreciated. If you cannot donate at this time, not to worry. I still love you!
