Mater Mother cuddle cot drive

Those that know Luke's and my story will know that last year on the 16th April we had a beautiful little girl named Harper Oriel. Harper was born at 21 weeks due to an infection that had grown in between my uterus and placenta caused as a result of a subchorionic hematoma. Harper was born alive and with us for 1 1/2 hours. She was a perfect little angel just far too small for this earth so she grew her wings and left to look over us from above. Harper was born at Mater Mother's Brisbane and the nurses and doctors there do an amazing job of providing support and comfort at a very delicate sad time, as tribute to their dedication and support and also in loving memorial of Harper I am wanting to raise $4000 to be able to buy a cuddle cot which will allow families to spend much needed time with their little angels once they have past. A Cuddle Cot is small, light and quiet and is designed for use with deceased babies in any moses basket or cot. It can easily be carried in one hand and so can easily be used at home for parents as well as for use within the hospital maternity department. It allows families to spend as much time as needed in order to say goodbye to their baby. We had Harper with us in our room for 3 days and 2 nights, we were able to take her outside, have professional photos taken with her and cuddle and kiss her whenever we needed, this time with her was amazing and really assisted us in healing and being able to spend time with her and get to know her. I want to be able to give this experience to other families in similar situations and really promote awareness of stillbirth or premature births but I need your help so please donate to this amazing cause in memory of our angel Harper Oriel.
