National History Day- National Qualifier

Michaela is preparing for her trip to Washington D.C. June 14th through the 21st. She will be competing in the National History Day National Competition in the Senior Documentary Category. The title of her film is "Mental Disabilities; From Cursed Beings to Equal Citizens."

This is her 3rd year in the competition and only 2nd year in the Senior Category. The first year she made it to the state competition but not to the state finals. Her second year she made it to the state competition and to the state finals but not to nationals. This year she made it all the way!!!!
