Shelly needs a liver!

Monday June 16th: Shelly passed away peacefully. Donations can be refunded; please message me. Otherwise, funds will be used for final expenses and any remainder donated to charity.
Latest update: Shelly is very weak and may not have the strength for transplant. Would it be ok to use donated funds for medical/ final expenses if needed?
My sister, Shelly, has auto-immune liver disease. She has undergone 2 liver transplants, and 1 kidney transplant. The current liver is rapidly failing, and kidneys are barely functioning. Medical insurance will not grant another transplant, but we are determined to find other options.
Likely, travel for transplant surgery outside the USA will be the only transplant option. Foreign transplant surgery requires us to provide live donors; so this adds to the challenge. We are researching the process of how to qualify/test donors, and will update when we have more info. Please let us know if you are interested in being an organ donor. Donors should have a current passport.
We set our fundraising goal at $800,000 based on an estimate we found online... If you prefer to donate funds offline, please address checks to SCCFCU (Santa Clara County federal credit union) where we have set up a fundraising account. Give Shelly the chance to see her niece grow up. Thank you!
