Christie's Cause- Stem Cell Transplant

I am setting up this page for my dear vibrant and active friend Christie Hoffman.
Christie is the kind of person that will help someone else before looking for help for herself. That is why I am setting this up for her.
She is an awesome mom of two grown children. She is an avid outdoors person and huge animal lover.She has a passion and talent for fly fishing and has taught many friends and family- including myself. She is the kind of person that leaves a bouguet of flowers from her yard on your door step just to brighten up your day!
After over a month of testing, and being severly ill, this January of 2014 the doctors discovered Christie has Bone Marrow Cancer also known as Mutiple Myeloma.She has been taking chemotherapy and has been approved and is a great canidate for a stem cell transplant.
She has only her own income and is looking at needing to rent a specialized apartment for 8 weeks in a Seattle while she undergoes the life saving treatment of a Stem cell transplant.
This funding will go towards paying for lodging,food and transportation costs during the 8 weeks of treatment.
The costs are overwhelming, especially now that she is unable to work. Anything you could contribute would be a huge blessing and would help to relieve this burden from her.
