Mateus is a senior attending Brigham Young University on a Student Visa from Brazil. With a short two semesters left to earn his degree, he had to return to Brazil in order to renew his Visa.
While separated, the unthinkable happened. Mateus' Visa was denied due to a paperwork error. Unable to work, Adriana and children Noah (4), Clara (3), and baby Nathan (1) are left to sell all they have and are barely able to scrape to make ends meet.
Now, 3 months later, Adriana and the children have managed to secure their passports to return to Brazil; but now they are scrambling to collect the funds to make it happen. Mateus has managed to find work in Brazil but raising money there is not a quick option, and with his young family unable to work in the states, they are struggling to get by.
Mateus plans on finishing his degree through BYU's online education programs and will hopefully graduate Spring 2015.
Please help reunite this sweet family and rejoin Adriana, Noah, Clara and Nathan with Mateus in Brazil.
