Odin's Army

For those of you who know Odin, he needs no introduction. Only 4 years old, this dog is family to my sister, her husband, and their infant son, Xander. He is a protector to his family and a friend to everyone he meets. Recently, Odin has begun to show signs of pain in his hind legs. A vet has determined Odin injured both of his rear knees pretty badly. The top part of his knees slide over and in front of the lower part of his knees. He can hardly walk and his legs shake badly. We are keeping him drugged up but he is going to need surgery to correct the problem. The vet says he would be good as new if he gets it. Currently, Lindsay and Jason are getting Odin around by carrying his hind legs in a sling. He is only four years old and he has a lot of life left in him...A lot of years playing with Xander and defining "man's best friend". It will be between $3,000 to $5,000 for surgery and anything at all would help. With the surgery, Odin could make a full, 100% recovery. Without it, the only option is to put him to rest...
