Fire Victim 90 year old Great Grandma Homeless

My name is Dave Sanger and I am the son-in-law of a wonderful 90 years young Great Grandmother, Patricia Garcia. "Pat" as everyone calls her, is a selfless, God loving woman, and a dear friend to many. Pat is a sole supported lady and lives frugally on her social security, and actually gets by. That was until the night of Tuesday September 8th 2020 when the Almeda fire swept through her modular home park, the Medford Estates near Phoenix Oregon. Afraid of this fast moving fire, in her panic she was only able to retrieve her beloved Maltese "Tootsie" and nothing else. Her oldest daughter Pauline (who lived nearby) picked up her mother and both thankfully escaped unhurt. They are now living with me and Loretta (Pat's youngest daughter, and my wife) in Eagle Point. Both homes Pat's, and Pauline's were a total loss, and the shock of this horrific event has been extremely traumatizing to both women.
Patricia, throughout her entire long life has never accepted monetary help for herself or family. Contrary to this, she has always been the first and sometimes the only one who reached out to others in need. She never let anyone who came to her house leave without providing them a meal, a place to stay, and numerous other kindnesses.
With a heavy heart, and on Pat's behalf, I'm reaching out to others for some help, to defray her waiting period of Fire, Police, and Insurance Company investigations. Having very little in the bank, she needs money for immediate living expenses at her new temporary home. Costs of a comfortable bed, food, medications, fuel, pet expenses, monthly bills, are realistic and imminent.
Living 90 years is no small feat, and now with this life altering event, combined with the worry of the COVID-19 pandemic we worry about her mental well being and potential depression.
Finally, if you can see it in your heart to help her out, my family and I would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
