90 Year old GRAMS & GRAMPS DEFRAUDED OVER $30,000
Donation protected
I am Michelle Berman, and as some may be aware, this past week, close elderly family members were hacked and defrauded out of tens of thousands of dollars.

Of course, they are incredibly embarrassed, but, in their defense, it appeared legitimate to them. They were held “hostage” for hours while these professional hackers could take control of their computer, utilizing the HACKED screen and pop-up to “help.” They, of course, were not helped but lost a substantial amount of money which is what they, in retirement, live on.
We are reaching out to friends and family to donate whatever you can to help them out. No amount is too small; the act of kindness is most important. The consequences were disastrous, and the money was, within minutes, transferred out of the country. There is no recourse, so we are reaching out on their behalf. These professionals are hurting many people and are pretty active right now.
My heart goes out to our loved ones, and thank you in advance for any support you can give. Please feel free to share this post.
*Grandma was on the computer while Grandpa was out of the house. A box popped up saying that her computer had been hacked, and she should click for support from Microsoft. When she saw the note from "Microsoft," she felt safe, so she clicked on the recommended spot. What then ensued were conversations via a "support chat" that led to phone conversations before Grandpa arrived home; this lasted a couple of hours. From there, through intimidation techniques, coercion and secretive messaging, the elderly couple were bilked out of over $30,000 in less than 12 hours. Grandpa began questioning what was taking place, but as he had not been in on the conversation at the beginning, he was reluctant to back out. When they returned to the bank, they were told they could not be helped because of how the scenario had taken place.
Protection officers report that this scam occurs quite often, and those who have been scammed are very reluctant to report the crime. In addition, when Grandpa went to his local tech store to clean up his computer to erase any malware, the person behind him said that he, too, had been bilked of a large sum of money similarly.
