Team Mike

A father, husband, brother, son, uncle and friend,  Mike is loved!!  He’s always cracking jokes,
And making everyone around him, laugh. He’s always been there when someone needs him and now it’s our turn.

It’s our turn to help hold his family up and hold them close, while he works on getting better.

With a little hope and a lot of hard work, he’d started his own business just over 2 years ago, his business has been holding its own and doing great with the support of a lot of friends and family. But that has now abruptly haulted his income contribution to his family, completely. 

Saturday morning 11/21/2020,  Mike went to the ER for abdominal pain. Because of an
amazing doctor, they found the source of his
pain to be from a tearing large artery in his belly. Although it was considered, they didn’t have time to life flight him to KUMED, and he underwent the first emergency surgery of three surgeries, in 4 days. The arterial tear lead to a whole host of complications. He’s been in the ICU, on a ventilator and back To surgery twice, after the initial one. He has had more than half of his small intestine removed, which has its own complications.

He’s now out of ICU,  but battling infection, low blood volume and possibility of a couple more surgeries. If you can possibly help out in any way, the Weets family deserves it. And although Mike would tell you everything is fine, he’ll figure it out.. everything is very much, not fine. If prayers are what you can do, we’ll take those too!!  

PS.. if he knew I was doing this, he’d kick my ass.
