Jason's Medical Fund

Jason went to the hospital in Missoula, MT on December 14th due to paralysis in his left leg. The next day he was flown to University Hospital of Salt Lake City. It was there that they discovered an extremely rare Genetic Vascular Abnormality in his Spinal Cord & Brain. The one in his Spine has since caused him to become paralyzed from his Sternum and down. He subsequently had surgery shortly after Christmas to remove the abnormality from his Spinal Cord. He has recovered some sensation & movement in both legs but has been plagued with setbacks.  My Uncle Jerry has been away from work & with Jason since they flew him to Salt Lake. We are currently trying to get him to Craig Hospital in Colorado for Rehab Therapy once he is medically cleared. At this time he remains hospitalized in SLC due to blood clots and other complications post-surgery. Soon he will be going in for another surgery to remove more blood clots & the IVC filter.

Any money we are able to raise will help Jason pay for his medical bills, equipment, house remodel (to make it wheelchair accessible), & living expenses while in rehab. The prognosis is uncertain at this time but Jason is in good spirits and is full of fight.
