Dear Friends and Family,
I am raising money to attend a highly prestigious program this summer in Nice, France called 'L'Academie Internationale d'ete de Nice'. The program is from July 28 to August 11 and includes lessons each day with the famous coaches, Dalton Baldwin and Antoine Palloc, master classes, language coachings, and a performance. Dalton Baldwin is well versed with French mélodie, which is the focus of this program. Some singers he coached and collaborated with include Elly Ameling, Gérard Souzay, Jessye Norman, Frederica von Stade, Arleen Auger, and Nicolaï Gedda. I am asking for your help to raise $3,000 because this two week program would be a great opportunity for me to grow as an artist and learn from the best in the place where French mélodie started. My expenses that make up my goal amount include:
Program cost: $1,500
Hotel cost: $1,170
Food: $330
Total =$3,000
