Surgery for Maverick

Our sweet baby boy was born October 25, 2017 happy and healthy as could be. On November 10, we noticed he wasn’t eating as much and something wasn’t right. We took him to the ED at Yale where they discovered he has a narrowing in the Aortic Valve causing him to not get enough blood to his body, which results in not being able to keep his body temperature up. He will hopefully be able to get into surgery on Wednesday November 15. His team says this type of surgery can take anywhere to 6-9 hours BUT could take up to 12. We will be in the hospital for up to 2 weeks and traveling back and forth from clinton to new haven is a lot in gas and parking. We would never in a million years ever ask for help, but with both of us currently being out of work life doesn’t stop and the bills are going to be pouring in.
