Christ Crucified Fellowship Church has been in existence since 2010 and continues to grow in its pursuit to make Jesus Christ known. We aim to KNOW Jesus & His Gospel, to LOVE Jesus and others, and LIVE out the mission of Jesus.
The Church is happy to announce its first ever MISSION TRIP to Bogota,Colombia on August 15-22, 2014. This trip will not only be to share the gospel with God's people, but to also serve the community of Bogota.
We will be serving the Bogota Kids Mission, Bogota Home for UnWed Teenage Mothers, as well as construction for the Retreat Development Center.
ALL INFORMATION IS BELOW.

THE EMBERA-CHAMI PEOPLE
The Chami of Colombia, part of the South American Indigenous people cluster, have a population of 29,000. Found only in Colombia, their primary language is Emberá-Chamí. With a long history of, invasion colonization, the Chami fight to preserve their traditions. Though influenced by Catholic beliefs, they hold strongly to their animistic traditions, the worldview that animals, plants, and/or inanimate objects posses spiritual essence.
Over the past several decades, the Chami have been highly affected by violent guerilla and paramilitary groups, over taking their land. Many have relocated to the capital city to seek work and refuge. Refugee centers seem more like half-way houses do their best to offer resources with limited support.
LABORERS
Stan and Debra Owens settled in Bogota, Colombia 9 years ago after working with indigenous people groups in Brazil and Aruba for 17 years. Concentrating their efforts on the Embera-Chami people, they work closely with Bogota Kid’s Mission, a refugee center, throughout the week to provide one-on-one assistance to families. On Sunday afternoons, they host a small bible study and a children’s Sunday school.
In partnership with Bogota Kid’s Mission, Stan and Debra work to develop a few acres of land outside of the city to create a campground for city children who often are forced to live around the violence, noise and pollution of the city; a place where children can be children. They also serve along side the Bogota Home For Unwed Teenage Mothers in order to serve the young mothers who have often been abandoned and left to fend for themselves.

Using CBS (Chronologican Bible Storying) method, we share the bible as oral literature; as a narrative story. Sharing stories that will allow them to understand the God of the Bible.

BOGOTA HOME FOR UNWED TEENAGE MOTHERS
The number of single teen mothers continues to rise in Bogota, Colombia. This home is dedicated to serve these women well with day-to-day care, resources and counseling. Young mothers ranging from 11-19 years often come from the street and can't take care of themselves let alone a child.
OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE
Children:
Bible study, activities for kid’s mountain camping retreat (Bogota Kid’s Mission)
Games/activities, devotionals, dental clinic help for 150 children at Bogota Kid’s Mission
Puppet shows, games, Bible Storytelling
Girl’s Home:
Provide Bible study, and other training and/or relationship-building activities at Home for Unwed Teenage Mothers
Video:
Shooting/producing/editing Bible story dramas using Chami as actors and narrators
Retreat Center Development
Helping Lloyd/Anita with construction and/or land clearing to build ministry/kids retreat center/area in mountains outside Bogota

General health and hygiene instruction for indigenous people
